Meet Dr. Christine Thibodeau

Staff Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Christine Thibodeau first joined the VCA 80 Dodge Animal Hospital team in 2013 while working as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Creighton University, along with minors in French and Studio Art, before continuing her veterinary education through the University of Nebraska’s Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine.

She completed her final two years at Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019.

At home, Dr. Thibodeau has three Bulldogs — two English and one French — so it’s no surprise that she especially enjoys working with brachycephalic, or “smoosh-faced,” breeds.

Her professional interests also include emergency and internal medicine. Outside of work, she loves trying new local restaurants with friends and spending time with family, whether that’s at game night or relaxing on the family farm.
