For this Hollywood dog training session, we help Sherbet, a MaeDay Rescue dog who has developed a case of Separation Anxiety.
Stopping separation anxiety in dogs is all about building up a dog’s confidence, desensitizing them of the triggers related to the human leaving and helping them learn to stay calm and relaxed when left alone. Ive used many methods to help dogs with separation anxiety and have found that teaching a dog to stay is an amazing tool to use to help the dog practice being alone.
You will probably find many tips for dogs who suffer from separation anxiety on YouTube, but I thought that making one long, but all encompassing video would be the best way to go for Sherbie’s guardian.
We covered a number of other things that will help Sherbet get over her separation anxiety for good in this in home Hollywood dog behavior help session. To help the guardian remember them all, we recorded a roadmap to success video that you can check out below.
