For this Omaha dog training session we were called in to work with 11 year-old Labrador Oscar and 10 year-old Husky mix Louie; teaching them to stay behind an invisible line outside of the kitchen.

Training dogs to stay out of a room is a pretty popular request as Omaha’s dog behavior expert. I like to use positive reinforcement and dog body language to teach a dog to stay out of a room or behind an invisible line. You can learn the secret to keeping a dog to stay out of a room by watching the free positive dog training video below.

This is a really easy way to keep a dog out of the kitchen or any room. It takes practice and good timing but isnt hard to do. You dont have to be a professional Labrador or Husky mix dog trainer to use this tip to keep dogs out of a room.

We covered a number of other dog behavior tips in this in home Omaha dog training session. To remember them all, we recorded a roadmap to success video that you can check out below.
