Our Fetch classes are designed to train adult dogs to fetch and retrieve objects. This is a great dog training class for high energy dogs where walking simply isn’t enough exercise.
We exclusively use positive dog training methods to encourage and reward your dog for good actions and performances. This kind of positive dog training is essential when training a dog to fetch so your dog enjoys the activity. These classes also cover retrieval training where we show you how to get your dog to bring back unusual items like the leash, your slippers or even a beer or soft drink in a can.
Classes meet the same day and time each week for 4 consecutive weeks. This program was designed for a dog to complete all 3 courses, but if a dog already has some of these skills, you can skip a class or jump into the class that works best for you.
Because this is a group dog training class, we cannot accept any dogs with human or dog aggression problems. If you have an aggressive dog, you can sign up for our Aggressive Dog Training Program. After your dog has completed that program and is no longer reactive or aggressive, you can enroll in any of these group training classes.
These Omaha dog training classes are broken up into 3 levels similar to college courses; 100, 200 and 300.
- Fetch and Retrieving 101
In this class we start out by teaching your dog to have a soft mouth, drop and leave it.
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you and your dog get individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.

In this class we show you how to train your dog to fetch, take and carry items.
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you and your dog get individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.

In this class we show you how to train your dog to find and bring back unusual items like your slippers, the leash or even a drink in an aluminum can.
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you get plenty of individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
