Omaha Cavapoo dog daycare

We may not exclusively an Omaha Cavapoo dog daycare, but that doesn’t bother our member dog Silvy. She has made so many puppy pals with the other breeds at our facility that her parents arranged for her to come in for a second day each week!

Silvy graduated from our puppy classes as a star student, but a few months later her parents thought she was getting lonely at home. They asked about bringing her to our small breed dog daycare room and we wanted to say yes immediately. But we had Silvy go through our 3 part evaluation process just to make sure.

Silvy’s Omaha Cavapoo Dog Daycare Journey

Of course this cuttie pie passed our behavior assessment with flying colors. We were pretty sure that would be the case, but when it comes to making sure all the dogs in our Omaha Cavapoo dog daycare are safe, we don’t mess around. Every dog starts out with a phone screening call to make sure they meet our minimum requirements (Dog friendly, 6+ months old, spayed or neutered and crate trained).

Silvy did great for her VIP tour of our facility, but we thought that would be the case after spending 12 nights here in our puppy school. When it came time for her behavior evaluation, Silvy was a little cautious at first. But once she started meeting the other dogs in our small breed dog daycare room, she quickly warmed up. It didnt take long before she decided that we are the best Omaha Cavapoo dog daycare, lol.

Silvy really enjoys the morning box enrichment exercise we do each morning. Many dogs dont like their crate as the only time they go into it is when their humans are leaving. But at our doggy daycare, we work hard to make sure the dog’s see the crate as a positive thing. The box enrichment game is one of the daily activities we do to build up that positive association wiht the crate.

Silvy’s parents really like our W Center dog daycare location in Omaha since its close to their home. But it was all the other things we do that made them decide that we would be the Omaha Cavapoo dog daycare for them like being low capacity.

Limiting our rooms to a maximum of 12 dogs means we know each dog that spends time with us. We get to tknow their cut off signals and how to read their body language. This gives us the ability to change things up; giving dogs a break, some love, a sniff walk or do some basic obedience training – depending on their needs.

Plus keeping the number of dogs low means Silvy knows all the dogs she spends time with. Making it a much more relaxing small breed dog daycare while maintining the things she likes to do for fun.

We taught Silvy how to do the hurricaine trick; spinning around. This is something we teach every dog in our daycare as some dogs do try to mount other dogs when they get excited. By teaching all the dogs to spin, they all have the ability to stop any unwanted humping. We dont understand why all dog daycares dont teach dogs to spin – bit that’s probably one of the reasons so many Omaha dog owners like our small breed daycare.

While she likes to spin, its probably a safe bet that playing with the other small breed dogs is why Silvy loves spending time with us. Her best friends are a King Charles mix namned Shazbot and a rescue Chihuahua named Arlo. Check out the video of Silvy playing with them both in this video we shot in our W Center dog daycare.

Silvy and friends are even cuter in person, but that short video is a great example of the good times dogs have at our daycare. Something our members know all too well as we have a video stream of our playrooms dog owners can watch at any time.

With the weather in Nebraska being so unpredictable, our climate controlled W Center Rd dog daycare facility is always the right temperature for your furry friend. And we even have drive through drop off and pick up service for our members. So you’ll never have to wait in line or walk through the rain when dropping off or picking up your dog from us.

If you have a small breed dog who is looking for a fun and safe place to play with other little dogs, fill out the form below. We will arrange for a private tour of our Omaha Cavapoo dog daycare so you can see it for yourself. Maybe your dog can kick it with Silvy and join in her fun.
