Our Control classes are designed to help adult dogs learn and develop the ability to self restrain and control themselves. This is a great dog training class for dogs who are over excited, have a nuisance barking problem or people who simply want to teach their dog to leave things, stay until released and other commands that require discipline from the dog.
We exclusively use positive dog training methods and staged scenarios to put your dog in the best position to succeed. Once your dog learns the core concept in the easiest situation possible, we start adding in distractions or increasing the difficulty level until your dog can perform these skills in real life situations.
Classes meet the same day and time each week for 4 consecutive weeks. This program was designed for a dog to complete all 3 courses, but if a dog already has some skills, you can skip a class or jump into the class that works best for you.
Because this is a group dog training class, we cannot accept any dogs with human or dog aggression problems. If you have an aggressive dog, you can sign up for our Aggressive Dog Training Program. After your dog has completed that program and is no longer reactive or aggressive, you can enroll in any of these group training classes.
These Omaha dog training classes are broken up into 3 levels similar to college courses; 100, 200 and 300.
- Canine Control 101
In this class we show you how to train a dog to wait or hold a position until they receive another command from you.
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you and your dog get individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.

In this class we show you how to train your dog to stay. By the end of this class, your dog will be able to stay in place for up to 5 minutes after receiving a single stay command.
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you and your dog get individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
Price: $99 - Canine Control 301
In this class we show you how to train your dog to stay unsupervised (with you outside of sight) and amidst distractions (dogs, people and other things in the area or passing by).
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you and your dog get individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
