Our basic commands class is designed to help adult dogs who lack the most basic dog commands and skills. This is a great dog training class for people who recently adopted or rescued an adult dog that doesn’t know many or any commands.
We exclusively use positive dog training methods to lure your dog into the act or position so your dog is motivated to want to do these commands for you.
Classes meet the same day and time each week for 4 consecutive weeks. The program was designed for a dog to go through all 3 courses, but if a dog already has some skills, you can skip a class or jump into the class that works best for you.
Because this is a group dog training class, we cannot enroll any dogs with human or dog aggression problems. If you have an aggressive dog, you can sign up for our Aggressive Dog Training Program. After your dog has completed that program and is no longer reactive or aggressive, you can enroll in any of these group training classes.
These Omaha dog training classes are broken up into 3 levels similar to college courses; 100, 200 and 300.
- Basic Commands 101
In this class we teach you how to train a dog to sit, lay down, sit up, stand, come, focus and potty outside.
Size: This class is limited to 5 dogs so you get plenty of individual instruction.
Length: 30 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks.

In this class we teach you how to train your dog to leave a room, go to a dog bed, sit at door to ask to go outside, hand targeting

In this class we teach you how to train your dog to location targeting, back up on command, freeze in place,
