Our adult group dog classes in Omaha are a fun way for your dog to learn new tricks, skills and commands. Each week we will teach you a different step or technique to help your dog achieve preset training goals using Positive Dog Training and Dog Psychology.
Our force free approach ensures that all dogs that complete our training programs are completely proficient in that dog-discipline and WANT to do the trick or command. We don’t practice dominate theory (punishing a dog for mistakes or the wrong behavior) to teach or train a dog because the dog doesn’t want or enjoy activities they learn with those methods.
While these group dog training classes are not customized exclusively for you and your dog like our in home dog behavior sessions (fixing behavior problems), in home dog training or dog daycare training, our canine group training class are fun, effective and affordable.
These one-hour classes meet weekly for four consecutive weeks on weekend afternoons and early evenings. Dogs from 10 months up are welcome to sign up for any of these classes. If your pup is under 10 months old, check out our puppy training options.
These dog classes are open to dogs as long as they do not have any or aggression problems (towards dogs or humans). If your dog is human or dog aggressive, we offer an Aggressive Dog Training Program that can help your dog learn new non aggressive ways to dealing with fear, stress, anxiety, aggression or frustration.
We have broken our dog training classes down into categories, grouped together in related subjects or skill sets.
- Basic Commands
For dogs who need help with the basics; sit, lay down, come, stop jumping up. - Canine Control
This class teaches your dog skills like stay, leave it, drop, etc that will help it develop self control and discipline. - Fetch Classes
Teaches dogs to fetch, drop, leave it and take things on command. - Loose Leash Training Classes
Teach your dog to walk next to you without pulling on the leash. - Fun Tricks and Commands Classes
Teach your dog fun tricks like; sit pretty, beg, give a pound / high 5, play dead, etc.
