If you are looking for a Mini Schnauzer Dog Daycare in Omaha that is safe for your small breed dog, you have come to the right place.
Dog Gone Problems dog daycare club focuses on high quality dog daycare for all dogs, but especially small breeds. We have a room that is exclusivly for the use of our Mini Schnauzers and other small breed dogs under 25 lbs. Its why we have become Omaha’s “it” spot for small breed doggy daycare.
Unlike high volume dog daycares with up to 50 dogs in a room, Dog Gone Problems small breed dog daycare keeps the room at 12 dogs or less. This low volume approach allows us to provide much higher daycare than other facilities in Omaha.
By limiting the room to a maximum of 12 dogs, we can provide extra care and support that other dog daycares simply cant due to the volume. These high volume facilities focus on stopping dog fights from happening due to over crowding and having small and large breed dogs together.
With only a dozen dogs in the room, our attendents get to know each dog well. This allows us to recognize when dogs are too excited so we can get them a nap. Or see when a dog wants space or perhaps needs quiet cuddle time with her buddies.
A Mini Schnauzer Dog Daycare Club
Another thing that makes our Omaha Mini Schnauzer dog daycare such a great option is we work with the dogs on thier basic obedience, manners, social skills and confidence. When dogs sit, lay down, come or drop a toy, our daycare attendents make a point to go over and pet the dog. This is a techique we can celebrating and its a powerful and super easy way to teach dog manners.
That may not seem like a big deal, but dog training is a numbers game. The more often you reward a dog for a behavior, the more likely the dog is to repeat it. So the more you pet a dog for sitting, the more likely it is it will sit to ask for attention. Daycare gives us an amazing opportunity to reward and celebrate the things you want your dog doing.
Our goal is for each dog to come home better each time they spend the day in our Mini Schnauzer Dog Daycare. Of course we have other dog breeds in our small dog daycare room, but Schanuzers have a special place in our heart as DGP founder grew up with Salt and Pepper Schnauzers.
Each dog is unique, but there are breed characteristics and tailoring the training and daycare experience for each dog’s needs allows our small breed doggy daycare to surpass what other places offer. Limiting the number of dogs allows us to focus on each dog as well as to get to know them really well. We strive to be an extension of you and your home.
Of course the reason send their dog’s to small breed dog daycare is to have run with the other dogs. Since we have a comprehensive 3 part screening process that evaluates each dog’s confidence, social skills and behavior – you know the dogs your dog plays with are fun and safe.
Dogs having fun at doggy daycare is easy. Making sure your dog is safe when doing so is the hard part. But as a daycare run by Omaha’s only dog behaviorist, safety is a primary concern for us. That’s why our Mini Schnauzer dog daycare is so popular with small breed dogs.
Lets face it Miniature Schnauzers are a bit of an unusual dog and that is a big part of their charm. Sure they can set off security alarms with their barking and sometimes they sound like they did voice over work in Star Wars, but when it comes to being a loving dog, its hard to beat a Mini Schnauzer.
If you have a Mini Schnauzer or other small breed dog, we’d love to hear about your dog and give you both a free VIP tour of our facility. Simply fill out the form below and we will ring you up to go over what we can offer you and your dog.
