Grace and Lucy - Stopping a Dog From Nipping People Who Try to Brush Her

For this Omaha dog training session we help 1 year-old Medium Labradoodle Grace (pictured here with her roomie 7 year-old Toy Poodle Lucy doing some Poodle dancing) stop nipping at her guardians when they try to brush her.

You can get tips on how to teach a dog to like to be brushed and groomed with the free positive dog training video below.

As you can see, Grace the dog didn’t nip at me at all; this is because we took it slow, went at Grace’s pace and included a lot of positive reinforcement. This is the secret to getting a dog to enjoy being brushed and groomed and best of all anyone can do it. You don’t have to specialize as a professional Labradoodle dog trainer to help a dog get over not liking having its fur brushed out.

We covered a number of other topics in this in home Omaha dog training session. To help the family remember them all, we shot a roadmap to success video.
