For this LA dog training session, we share tips to stop separation anxiety in dogs to help a 1 year-old German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois named Franka, aka Franks.
Stopping separation anxiety in dogs is a request I get quite a bit. No-one wants to see a dog suffer from separation anxiety when left alone and the good news is its very fixable. I share the secrets to stopping separation anxiety in dogs in the free dog behavior training video below.
To help the dog get over separation anxiety, the guardian will need to desensitize the dog from the triggers that are associated with the humans leaving, build up her confidence and help her practice being alone. It will take some practice, but fortunately anyone can use this approach to eliminating separation anxiety in dogs, even if you are not a professional Belgian Malinios dog trainer.
To help the guardians remember all the tips I shared with them in this in home LA dog training session, we shot a roadmap to success video that you can watch below.
