Stopping a Dog From Jumping on Guests When its Over Excited

For this Omaha dog training session we trained 2 year-old Lab mix Champion to stop jumping up on guests and shared tips to help 2 year-old Akita mix Raptor stop trying to dominate his roomie.

Knowing that Champion likes to jump up on guests who visit, I called ahead to give the guardian some instructions so I could share my secret to stopping any dog from jumping up on people. Training a dog to stop jumping up on people this way is awesome because the dog learns on its own instead of the human micromanaging the dog.
