Stopping Bailey’s Accidents and Teaching Her to Ring a Bell to Ask to Go Potty

For this Omaha dog training session we worked with Bailey, a 1 year-old Shih Tzu Poodle mix; sharing potty training tips and how to teach a dog to ring a bell when it needs to potty.

The secret to potty training any dog easily is to follow the steps in the free dog training video every potty break for 7 – 10 days. If the guardians use these potty training tips consistently, it shouldn’t be long before Bailey is acting fussy to let them know she needs to potty.

Once Bailey’s remedial potty training is complete, the family can start working on training the dog to ring the bell to ask to go out to potty. Teaching their dog to ring a bell to go potty will be more important in Bailey’s situation than other dogs as the door to go outside is in the basement.
